Antonia Diomatari

What led you to teaching?
In Greece I studied child psychology at university before becoming a mother to my 3 beautiful children. I have realised how much I enjoyed seeing happy smiley faces on children so I have decided I want to become a teacher and enable them to learn in a happy environment.

What inspires you in what you do?
I love seeing the children’s progress and feeling I am making a difference in their learning. Every child is unique with their own way of learning and I learn from them each day. I am so rewarded by the enthusiasm and joy I see on their faces.

What do you love most about Skippers?
Everyone here is so happy and always supportive, they have become my second family here in England.

If you weren’t a teacher what would you be?
I have always wanted to be a midwife. How exciting would it be to help a woman become a mother!
