What led you to teaching?
I always wanted a job I would enjoy, so I decided to do Primary Education at University. I love having the opportunity to be able to create an environment where children feel safe to be curious, explore and enjoy learning at the same time as being kind and caring people.
What inspires you and what you do?
I am inspired by the children and wanting to support them in developing a love for learning and enjoying their time in school. I love supporting them in achieving something they have worked hard and persevered for, as well as encouraging them to be kind and helpful to each other.
What do you love most about Skippers?
I love what a happy and safe environment Skippers is for children to learn and explore. Everyone is so friendly and supportive and happy to help wherever they can. Lunch is also great!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love going to the beach, especially when the weather is perfect for paddleboarding with friends.
