What led you to teaching?
After my degree, I worked in London and New York as an Insurance Broker for 17 years before becoming a mother. Whilst my children were at Prep school, I found devising effective strategies to assist their learning so rewarding that I decided to make a (second) career out of it! I also have a particular interest in supporting progress and confidence in Maths.

What inspires you and what you do?
The children. Their boundless creativity and innovation are a daily inspiration. I feel privileged to be a part of their education and to support them in achieving their targets.

What do you love most about Skippers?
The warmth of the Skippers family which was evident from my very first visit….(and not forgetting, of course, the magnificent view).

What was your favourite childhood book?
I love reading and one of my hobbies is collecting books. Roald Dahl’s ‘Danny, the Champion of the World’ was my favourite book when I was young. I still enjoy reading it to this day – such a daring plot!
