What led you to teaching?

I really enjoyed school as a child and have always loved learning. I started volunteering for a local Brownies group after I finished university, which inspired me to want to teach. I love the buzz of being in the classroom and watching the children learn and progress.

What inspires you and what you do?
The number one thing that inspires me in teaching is the ability to make a difference to a young person’s life whether that be making academic progress or becoming more confident socially.
What do you love most about Skippers?
The whole community of people make Skippers such a fun place to work. It has a real family feel to it and I love its quirkiness. There is no place quite like Skippers!
What was your favourite childhood book?
