What led you to teaching? Having seen how I could support my own children with their learning and building their confidence, I volunteered at my children’s school. This started my passion to enable all children to enjoy learning and to feel valued.

What inspires you and what you do? I’m inspired by children’s constant inquisitive nature, the confidence to give something new a go and their willingness to help others.

What do you love most about Skippers? I love the way Skippers staff and parents are one big family all striving for the same goals for the children at Skippers. The support we give each other is undoubtedly the strength behind the school. They have helped me to develop my passion for teacher.

If you weren’t a teacher what would you be?
If I wasn’t a teacher I would love to be a vet. I love all animals, well maybe not snakes or crocodiles. I would have so many dogs I would need a field instead of a garden. I would also have ducks and a pond. I have a passion to care for animals.
