The Kisbee Family

Sonia Kisbee, a mother of Year 8 pupil, Sam Kisbee who left in Summer 2011.

Why did you choose Skippers Hill for your child?

From Years R – 6, Sam attended a state primary school. Skippers Hill was suggested to us as a recommended pathway from Year 7 into the public school system and fitted our needs at the time. We were impressed with the school and its staff and had really positive recommendations from other parents with children already attending.

What do you feel Skippers Hill has given to your child?

Skippers has given Sam the opportunity to mature and given him more confidence in his abilities as he heads into a much larger school in Year 9. Academically, especially in English & History, I think that the improvements have been dramatic.

What does Skippers Hill offer that other schools may not?

A small & friendly school where the children appear relaxed and confident. A good work ethic with an emphasis on positive competition both academically and in sport.

In a few sentences can you sum up what you feel makes Skippers unique?

A unique atmosphere, where each child is treated as an individual. The beautiful setting and friendly feel makes it a fun and happy learning environment. It has also been a great experience for us as parents with everyone making us feel very welcome.
