U11 Cricketers

The U11 cricket team have had a very busy week, playing in two cricket tournaments: Brighton Pelican Cup and Tonbridge Only Connect. They played some fantastic teams, who tested our players to breaking point. They shouldered the challenge well, aggresively running between the wicket when batting, varying the bowling to tease out wickets and catches in the field. They came out with some impressive results against strong opponents, coming third out of four in the group stages at Brighton, and second out of four in the plate at Tonbridge. Every player grew throughout both competitions into a confident veteran of 6-a-side cricket. They now confidently look forward to the last few matches of the season against Vinehall, Claremont and Lewes Old Grammar.
