Congratulations to Performing Arts Prefect Esme Moignard, who represented Skippers Hill Manor Prep at The Cranmer Awards held at St. Mary’s Church, Battle, for the Chichester Diocese heat, held on 16th November 2021.
Esme gained a Highly Commended for her reading of Psalm 104 from the1662 Book of Common Prayer. Here is Esme with the Dean of Battle The Very Reverend Lee Duckett and Senior Section Cranmer Award Winner Olivia Russell, also a student of our Peripatetic Drama Teacher Mrs Lucy Moignard. Winners from this years heat get to perform in the finals at Hampton Court Palace on 26th February 2022.
Mrs Farman and Mrs Moignard would like to encourage more Skippers pupils from the age of 11 years upwards, to take part in the competition next year.
