Bushcraft Club

Year group: Years 1 & 2

Run by Lucy Clarke, a Forest School trained practitioner from Wilderness Wood, Bushcraft Club is a six-week programme enabling children to explore the woods and grounds at the school site.

Bushcraft Club is great for children who have an established love of the outdoors, as well as those who are looking for their first taste of adventure! Apart from having a lot of fun, the club helps children to develop a greater appreciation and respect for nature, as well as developing important team building, risk taking and survival skills.

Activities include tree climbing, building dens, whittling, campfire cooking and shelter building.

When: Tuesdays, 3.30pm - 5.00pm (Summer Term/Autumn First Half Term)
Who: Years 1 & 2
