As a mixed ability independent school, we are extremely proud of our record of academic results. Very high standards are achieved at the end of the Foundation Stage, and our pupils' results in National Tests at 7 and 11 are well above the national average.
As well as a high success rate in School's own entry exams, we have achieved a 100% success rate at Common Entrance over the past 20 years, with every student gaining a place at the school of their choice.
In addition to their academic success, our students achieve a significant number of specialist scholarships in Music, Sport, Art and Drama.

The majority of pupils sing in one of our very successful choirs, all of which have won cups and shields in popular local festivals of Arts and Music, alongside our Mime, Choral Speaking groups and individual entries.
Many pupils also take exams in a vast range of musical instruments, vocal training, speech and drama and ballet.
We have successful sports teams in all major games, and pupils represent their county in several sports.
"Every teacher that taught me always took an interest in my passion for science and space exploration, and would try and help and push me that little bit further to fulfill that passion, and help me prepare for my education beyond Skippers."
Matt Cro, former pupil (Space Technology & Exploration, EADS Astrium)
