Years 3 & 4
Using their special Spanish passports, Years 3 & 4 were able to spend the morning enjoying Spanish Games and Music, followed by a Spanish Art lesson with Mrs Foden and Miss Alexander.
The children painted red and yellow sombreros to be hung as bunting and also enjoyed creating Spanish mosaics with coloured paper squares.
Madison in Year 3, said: “My favourite thing today has been making and decorating Spanish hats, in Art. We also made mosaics. Spanish Day is really good because it reminds you of Spanish people and how to do Spanish things.”
During the afternoon, Years 3 & 4 enjoyed a Salsa lesson and shared tapas in the Spanish Cafe with Mrs Harvey and Mr O’Callaghan.
Lucy in Year 4, said: “My favourite thing about Spanish Day has been eating in the Spanish Cafe. Spanish Day was fun!”
To end the day, Years 3 & 4 completed a special Spanish quiz, created by Years 7 & 8.
