The Return
Year 7 has certainly hit the ground running as they tackle their Key 3 stage studies and varied extra curricular activities. We welcome three new members to the form, who have settled well and had the chance to further bond with the year 8 with the overnight camping experience. Many parents will have enjoyed a Friday night of peace and quiet but suffered a Saturday of ‘child from hell’.
These are some of the comments so far:
‘The first few weeks of school have been the best ever! We’ve been doing all of my favourite lessons like: English, Science and even Maths’
‘The best part of the evening was contact manhunt and Danish Longball …. Mr G was also extremely funny’
‘Camping was awesome’
‘ Jackie took us for a walk in the woods and joked that Mr Lewis had parked his car there the other day and it was now just a wheel , half an axle and bits of an engine.’
‘ We settled down to eat a big pile of sweets’
‘There was a scrum of people holding up different objects shouting ‘ What does this do?’ and ‘ I give up’.
