Reflection and Feedback
Posted: 17th October 2018 | Category: Headmaster's Blog
Many congratulations to all of the children who have been bringing home their interim reports this week: many children have achieved fantastic grades! Providing feedback to each and every child at an early point in the year enables us to celebrate success and set targets for improvement going forward; the children have engaged fully in the process of self-reflection over recent days.
During assembly this morning, Mr Leggett was able to praise and celebrate all of the children for their excellent efforts, rewarding the top raffle winners this half-term and sharing his pride over their positive attitude and engagement over the past 6 weeks. It really has been an action-packed start to the year with so much to enjoy.
Thank you to all the staff who have worked extremely hard to provide such outstanding opportunities and learning experiences for the pupils thus far: both children and adults deserve a well-earned half-term break.….(Don't forget Year 8, you do have a little bit of revision to do!)
Mark Hammond.
