KG go exploring and negotiating obstacles with Mr Gurran

Posted: 9th May 2018 | Category: Kindergarten

What a glorious sunny morning to explore the woods!  The Kindergarten children had the unexpected surprise of PE with Mr Gurran in the woods today.

They had the task of negotiating obstacles safely and listening for instructions and all the children responded brilliantly.  Along the way the children were captivated by the carpet of blue (the bluebells are out!) and collected an array of sticks, moss, pebbles - whatever they could find.  We were joined by our new team members  - Miss Grace and Miss Camilla who have very quickly become part of our Skippers family.   We finished off our session in the woods with a sing-song  and then a race back up to the top.

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to build on existing friendships and explore new ones.
