Early Years enjoying Spanish Day

Posted: 12th November 2014 | Category: Kindergarten

Kindergarten and Reception had a very colourful Spanish Day.
In the morning, both classes enjoyed learning how to count to 10 in Spanish and watching a video of Spanish dancing.
Kindergarten learnt the names of some animals in Spanish and painted flags, whilst Reception learnt the names of different colours in Spanish, colouring rainbow pictures and making their own fans.
In the afternoon, Reception were joined by Kindergarten for a special Fiesta and enjoyed making delicious Spanish wraps for their afternoon snack.
Some quotes from Reception
Alfie - colouring the flag was cool!
Oliver M - I liked the Spanish food we had at the party.
Thomas- I liked it when we learnt about the colours and did the flamenco dancing.
Chace and Nik  - We liked eating the spicy sausage! (chorizo)
Oliver E and Aubrey - We really enjoyed the whole of Spanish Day.
Kit - I liked doing the rainbow colouring and eating the spicy sausage.Gabrielle - I liked doing the flamenco dancing and making fans.
