Years 5 & 6 Perform ‘The Seasons’ Concert
Posted: 22nd November 2013
On Monday 11th November, pupils in Year 5 and 6 performed “The Seasons” Concert to parents. Read an account of the performance by a Year 6 pupil.
By Emily N, Year 6
The Seasons Concert was a fine sharp performance from Yrs 5&6.
Highlights included: Year 5's mini production “The Autumn of Life”; Year 6's “Keep the Home Fires Burning” and Drama Club's “High time to Rein in Rudolf.”
There were poems, songs, mime, humour and poignancy. We all wore a poppy as the Concert took place on 11th November.
Tiegan MacRae (Year 6) said “I was impressed with everyone in rehearsal, but the disappointment was that unfortunately I was not there to see it in all its glory.”
It was indeed wonderful; Miss Alexander commented: “I was impressed by how well everybody learned their parts, especially considering how little time they had.”
If you look at anything hard enough there will be mistakes, but although some of the words could have been clearer, it was a fantastic performance enjoyed by all.
