Herstmonceux Science Centre

Year 3 and 4 had a brilliant time at Herstmonceux Science Centre last Friday.

They started the day with a super workshop about robots where they had to control a robot arm to pick up various shapes. I was pleased to see the determination on their faces during the activity and the resilience they all showed! After the workshop, they were able to explore all the hands-on exhibits, both inside and outside, as well as the water park - luckily no-one got too wet!

The day ended with a fascinating science show which was based on materials. The children were impeccably behaved and participated in all events with enthusiasm. Thank you to the parents and staff who joined us on this trip. A great way to end the year!
