Nurturing Children at Skippers

Nurturing Children at Skippers

One of the joys of children attending Kindergarten within a whole school setting, is the abundance of ‘big’ children - boys and girls - who want to come in and play with the children!

At Skippers, we are so lucky to have a lovely group of Year 8 pupils who come and visit Kindergarten every day.

The benefits work both ways: the children love to share their play, show off their talents, have one-to-one interaction with a caring and responsive older child; whilst the older children enjoy being responsible, reading stories, showing their nurturing side and spending time in a happy, relaxing and playful environment.

Visit our photo gallery to see how the older children at Skippers truly nurture the younger ones.
