Year 6 throw themselves into their Challenge Awards.
Posted: 14th January 2016
Well done to the Year 6 children who threw themselves whole-heartedly into the new Skippers Challenge Award last term. Throughout Years 6,7 and 8 the children will be engaging in a variety of tasks and projects to aid their personal development - learning new skills, carrying out personal projects, doing community service and taking part in expeditions.
As their new skill, various children took up mountain biking, cooking, dance, dog-training, rock climbing and even shooting, among other things.

We are the first to have the opportunity to get all 3 medals! Our first task was to learn and take up a new skill. Loads of medals are going to be won as there is some great effort here form all taking part. My personal favourites are Baylee, who put time, money and effort into creating a cook book to present to the class; Jiya, who did some excellent D.I.Y and last but not least Ruby, who makes the most divine, exquisite Galaxy cookies!
