Year 3 Meet a Stone Age Tribe Member!

This term Year 3 has been learning all about the Stone Age. Children have taken on the role of explorer/archeologist and discovered lots of information about how Stone Age people lived and survived.

With a full term of hands-on lessons, children have learnt how to write instructions, written their own stone age stories, Woodland Maths, tried their hand at cave painting (under our cave tables!), excavated fossils, challenged themselves to create a standing mesotholisic  shelter and even met a Stone Age tribe member to ask our questions too!

We are very much looking forward to our trip to Kent Life in November to consolidate our learning!

What a brilliant start to term!
