Year 3 visit Shipley’s Farm

On Tuesday, Year 3 set out on an exciting adventure to the Shipley's farm. The sun shone and the children all had a wonderful time beaming with smiles all morning.

The children learnt about the workings of a farm and how to care for animals.

They bottle fed the lambs, cuddled some very cute puppies, groomed some ponies and had a ride in a trailer behind a quad bike. They were taken for a walk across the farmland and through the beautiful woodland that was laden with bluebells.

The children then wrote a recount of what they had done and illustrated their writing.
