Year 3 engage in wonderful Egyptian workshop

Year 3 participated in a wonderful workshop about their topic, the ancient Egyptians.

They took part in interactive storytelling activities about the Egyptian gods and goddesses and learnt about the mummification process and the importance of the after life to the ancient Egyptians. Year 3 even went on a funeral procession with drums, a cymbal and a coffin around the school! The children had a fantastic day and the workshop definitely enriched their learning about the topic.
