On Monday morning, Year 3 engaged in a wonderful workshop about their history topic, the Ancient Egyptians.
The children took part in some exciting and interactive storytelling activities about the Egyptian Gods and their rivalries. There was lots of laughter and a few surprises. They also learnt about the mummification process and the importance of the afterlife to the Ancient Egyptians.
The morning finished with the class going on a Pharaoh's funeral procession around the school, carrying a replica Middle Kingdom coffin.
We had a fantastic time and the workshop definitely enriched their learning about the topic.
Well done Year 3 for dressing up and showing real curiosity this morning!
