Year 4 enjoy action packed residential trip to Bowles

Year 4 had a very successful residential at Bowles outdoor centre in Eridge.

It was an action packed trip during which the children challenged themselves, showed resilience, great teamwork and above all had lots of fun! Naturally there was a little apprehension at the beginning of many of the challenges, especially when they were expected to climb a 30ft wobbly pole and launch themselves off the top - harnessed of course! With encouragement from their peers they took on the all the challenges and succeeded.

Many of the instructors at the centre commented on how well behaved the children were and I was delighted to walk into the staffroom at Bowles and see written on their whiteboard: 'Skippers - best group ever!'

The children have enjoyed sharing their experiences at a whole school assembly.

We hope you enjoy the photos and video!
