The Football Season Comes to a Close

As the Autumn term draws to a close, so does the football season.

The U9/8s have had a fantastic season with some noticeable success at the Vinehall and St Andrew's football tournament, and some excellent wins against both larger and smaller schools. The Year 3s have made particular progress this term as their skills and game awareness has improved. The Year 4s have shown themselves to be a physical team who have won matches through their physicality and speed. This bodes well indeed for the rugby season.

The U11/10s have had the best results in the school, starting with winning the Ardingly plate at the start of the season and finishing the season with five wins and one loss in an ABC triangular tournament against Rose Hill and The Mead. The Year 5s have shown themselves to be skilful with strong game awareness, and the Year 6s have been an unflappable force dominating possession by working hard off the ball and attacking with speed and decisiveness.

The U12/13s have worked at improving their skills and tried hard in all their matches but most of them are now excited that it's the start of the rugby season!

We look forward to sharing our rugby successes with you next term.
