Skippers skipping

On Monday 11th January Skippers really did justify its name: the entire school took part in skipping workshops to improve their skills, learn about the benefits of regular exercise and then eat a bowl of delicious blueberries! Champion skippers from each year group won certificates and then our grand champion took on our winning teacher in a final skip off! As if it was ever in doubt, Jasmine in Year 7 won with a resounding victory ... well done to her and all the other children!
Skipping ropes are being spotted during break times and it is great to see the children's enthusiasm and pleasure in this - as always!
