Skippers Eco-Warriors Help Keep Britain Tidy

This Spring, Eco-Schools and Keep Britain Tidy asked schools to help improve the environment by taking part in the Great Big School Clean. Events started on the 22nd March and will continue until the 23rd April across the UK and Skippers have registered to take part as a school.

We have made a pledge to collect and safely dispose of litter from our surroundings as well as recycling as much as possible. The children have made a great start around the school grounds with different year groups holding weekly clean-ups. Year 5 promised to look out for litter while on their recent residential at PGL and Year 3 took part in a litter pick during their trip to Pizza Express. Well done to all the children for their commitment!

With our School Eco-Warriors leading the way, we want to make clean-ups a part of daily life and encourage other schools and people to be part of the pick.

So join us, as we prepare to stand together and declare that litter pollution is not acceptable!
