“Safety in Action” - Year 6 Learn About Staying Safe

The Year 6 pupils divided into groups to attend various ‘Safety in Action’ scenarios when they visited The Bowles Centre in Crowborough on Friday 15th June.
The scenarios included:
Traffic Safety
Stranger Danger
Safety in the Countryside
Tradings Standards awareness
Fire Safety
Railway safety
First Aid
The aim of the course was for the children to experience an expert presenting dangerous scenarios in a safe environment. Not only did the children learn a great deal from the day, but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.Following their visit, the class helped Miss Alexander and Mr Pollard to present an assembly to the whole school on Wednesday based on what they had learned from the course.
