Reception Host Afternoon Tea in the Community

Reception children went down to Five Ashes Village Hall to host an afternoon tea with the older ladies and gentlemen of the community. The children had a fantastic time and they made lots of lovely new friends.

The children performed a bumblebee story they had learnt, they made kindness flowers, read their school reading books to someone and then had a secret play on the playground!

A lot of fun was had by all.

I asked the children what they enjoyed the most about the afternoon:

Saffron- I liked the cakes and  the old ladies and gentlemen
Toby- My favourite bit was giving the man the flower I made
Hetty- My best thing was giving the flowers to the old ladies and gentlemen
Harris- I liked reading my story to the  man
Arthur- My favourite bit was reading the bumble bee story to everyone
Gwyn- My favourite bit was the playground
