Rain Doesn’t Stop Play!

The soggy weather has not put a stop to sport at Skippers and we've played 15 out of 18 fixtures this term with highlights including winning the plate at the I.A.P.S Under 11 boys hockey competition.

As a result, the boys have had a busy season of rugby and hockey, and despite the gusty winds earlier this week pre-season cricket training has also begun.

The sport curriculum at Skippers this term has extended to include water polo - Year 8 enjoyed a fixture against Rose Hill, and the novice skiers will be putting on their ski boots for additional lessons at Knockhatch in preparation for the school ski trip at the end of March.

Furthermore, we have tennis and cricket masterclasses arranged for March and April, which has helped make this cold wet term a rather exciting one.
