Mixed inter house Hockey tournament

Posted: 9th March 2017 | Category: Sports, Years 3 & 4

On Thursday 2nd March, Year 3 and 4 took part in the Junior house hockey. For the first time we ran the competition as a mixed house tournament, which challenged both the boys and girls. Mr Minister ran the hockey on the Astroturf, whilst Mr Gurran ran a house dodgeball tournament. The houses were split into an A and B team, and battle commenced!
After a fantastic couple of hours of competition, Livingstone and Churchill managed to draw for 1st place with 10 points, whilst Drake came 2nd with 4. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all students and it was great to see the boys and girls competing alongside each other.

There were some great performances across both year groups and it was excellent to see them putting into practise everything they have learned throughout the year.
