Libby awarded Distinction in Grade 5 Speech and Drama Exam

Posted: 17th May 2017 | Category: Drama, Year 6

During the Easter break Libby attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she took her Grade 5 Speech and Drama exam.
The requirements for this exam where a tall order for someone so young. Libby had to learn an acting piece and a verse.

She was also required to sight read an extract she'd never seen before, create an improvisation on the spot about a stimulus given to her by the examiner and finally Libby had to sit and talk about the pieces she had chosen to preform plus discuss the Inflection and Intonation within each piece, not an easy task for anyone.

However, Libby did incredibly well and has been awarded a Distinction for her hard work. This will be Libby's sixth exam and sixth Distinction.

Congratulations Libby
