Lancing College Chorister Day
Posted: 9th May 2018 | Category: Years 5 to 8

What a beautiful day for eight of our Year 4 and 5 pupils to go to Lancing College. As ever, those who saw the gothic Chapel for the first time were bowled over by the magnitude of the impressive building perched high above the A27.
Our pupils were given their usual warm welcome and the College Music staff took the children through their paces at an impressive speed. Daunted not, the pupils rose to every challenge. From timorous beginnings, the final performance was confident with attention paid to diction and dynamics.
With copious amounts of water and juice an offer and the Doughnut Challenge won by Jess, the visit to the Tuck shop had the £2.00 coins spent in minutes and Haribos consumed at at an alarming rate.
Presented with a ‘goodie’ bag to bring home, our pupils had a fantastic experience and their behaviour was a credit to Skippers.
