Kindergarten’s Pirate-Themed Piñata
Posted: 23rd November 2012 | Category: EYFS, Kindergarten
As part of our topic on 'The Sea/Pirates' Kindergarten made an Octopus Piñata. It was a very messy business! Hermione was the most keen out of Kindergarten to get messy. She enjoyed mixing the glue. "We are a good team making this Octopus!" she said to the class.
We had a Pirate Party which included pirate games such as Hide the Treasure and Walk the Plank. Of course we also participated in some "Pirate Dancing".
The bashing of the piñata was definitely a highlight. I have never seen so much treasure tumble from the tummy of an Octopus!
The pirates and princesses then feasted on pirate cupcakes and wibbly wobbly jelly and a good time was had by all.
