Posted: 13th June 2012

Music and Arts

This weekend, several Skippers Hill pupils represented the school at the East Grinstead Music and Arts Festival and put on some great performances.

Gabriella Mack and Beatrice  Convert were awarded a silver salver for duo verse speaking, with their chosen piece,  ‘Adventures of Isabel’ by Ogdan Nash.

Beatrice Convert and Eliza Dunhill won the duo acting when they performed an excerpt from ‘Children in Uniform’ by Christa Winsloe.

Emily Dawe and Arabella Orman were runners up in the duo acting, with a piece from ‘Little Women’.

Jemima was also awarded the ‘Waterstones’ Bursary’, a gift token, for her contribution in several classes during the festival.

Alana Flavelle was the runner up in the Junior Versatility.

It was a superb effort from everyone who took part.

Well done!
