Frances’ Easter Photography Competition!
Posted: 31st March 2020

I want you to see your children gain self-confidence, improve their creativity, and build better communication skills through photography!
So to start them off as budding photographers I have set them a challenge to do over the Easter holidays. If this proves popular I will send out new challenges throughout next term as well.
The idea is that the children choose one or more of the topics from the categories in their age group and then decide how they wish to interpret this using the camera. I am hoping the children will think creatively, be original and use their observational skills.
Over the holidays they can make an album in 'photos' on your phone (presuming everyone is taking them with a phone!), the younger ones may need a little help with this! At the end of the holidays the children can email me, frances.plummer@skippershill.com up to 2 of their favourite photos from each category.
I will then make a gallery of a selection of them to put on the website and also award house points to the winners in each category in each of the age groups.
I think they will all have fun with this and hopefully the older ones at least can work independently with maybe a little encouragement to get them started!
