FOSHA’S Plans for the Year

Posted: 1st October 2014 | Category: FOSHA

"Members of the school's parent committee, FOSHA, have been busy this term organising the Christmas Fayre which takes  place on the 29 November, the Halloween Disco (20 October) and Macmillan's 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' that took place last Friday. Thank you to all who supported this event, which was a huge success and raised just over £260 for the charity.

The Christmas Fayre is a big fundraising event for the school. If you are keen to donate a prize for the Silent Auction or Raffle or would like to place an advert in the Christmas Fayre brochure, then please email Sarah or Lynne by the end of next week via

FOSHA will also be hosting a social event at The Blackboys Inn on Thursday 9 October, 20.00-22.30. All current Form Reps are invited to attend for a glass of wine and some nibbles, as well as any others who would like to meet the FOSHA team and learn more about how to get involved. More details on all these events to follow, but the team looks forward to seeing some of you there.

Last year, FOSHA raised just over £3,500 which went towards paying for the successful Senior Fun Day at Bewl Water, the Junior’s ‘Bird of Prey’ display and activities and a Tentipee that will be erected as part of the school’s ‘Outdoor Woodland Project’ being developed for all pupils to enjoy."
