Danceathon for Children In Need

Danceathon for Children In Need

How magical it was to see the whole school so energised and happy on Tuesday when taking part in the Danceathon for this year's Children in Need.

The children and staff, all adorned in something yellow had been practising their dance moves all week to participate in the coordinated dance to the song 'A Friend Like Me' from Aladdin.

Just as the children got in to position ready to perform, from around the corner came Pudsey Bear! The excitement from the playground was almost tangible as the children crowded round to have a hug with the nation's favourite bear!

Pudsey even joined in with the Danceathon although obviously having to improvise the moves not having been to any of the rehearsals!

Well done everyone for supporting a wonderful charity and huge thanks to Beth Beazleigh and her team for working so hard to coordinate the whole event!
