Cinderella Surprises Skippers with an Unexpected Visit

Reception to Year 6 enjoyed an unexpected treat on Wednesday morning when they were visited by M&M Theatrical Productions, who presented their version of 'Cinderella' in the gym.

The children were entertained by a group of very talented young actors who had transformed the once-familiar gym into a colourful stage set, and themselves into the characters we all know and love.

There was something for all ages; the younger children enjoyed the magical transformations and the older children sang along to songs borrowed from The Greatest Showman, George Ezra and Abba.

The highlight for everyone was the moment two unsuspecting teachers were 'persuaded' onto the stage, while the remaining teachers attempted to hide among the children.

Well done to Miss Barnett and to Miss Beazleigh, who knew all the steps to the Macarena and to Gangnam Style and performed with great panache!

It was great fun - we hope to see M&M Productions again sometime.
