Celebrating talents at Bellevue Music Festival
Posted: 27th March 2018 | Category: Bellevue Education
After months of preparation, the 2018 Bellevue Schools Music Festivals took place at the Royal Northern College of Music, for the group’s northern UK schools and at The Hammond Theatre, Hampton, for the group’s southern UK schools.
Tom W, in Year 5 at Skippers Hill, joined pupils from other schools in the Bellevue group to showcase his talent for playing the cello at The Hammond Theatre on Monday 19th March.

Steven said: "Performance plays a vital and vibrant role in the lives of all Bellevue Schools. The Festivals are fitting celebration of the unique talents of pupils within our UK schools, with the further benefit of children from different schools working together in unison. The programme reflected the diversity and quality of the many opportunities open to children in our schools: highlights of school productions, class compositions, solos, ensembles, orchestras and choirs were all present.
The skill and passion with which they performed was genuinely humbling, and reflected the many hours of practice by the children and the support of dedicated staff. Congratulations to all of the pupils and staff involved, particularly to Susan Wellings and Shelagh Lee for directing the festivals, which will be remembered for a very long time."
