LAMDA

Our LAMDA drama classes are led by Chrissy McNeice.

Trinity

Mary Pearson has been teaching at Skippers Hill for the past 16 years. She takes children in small groups for lessons, which include confidence building and drama games. The children practise mime, improvisation, verse, prose speaking and acting. As children progress through the school they are encouraged to take Trinity College Exams, from initial grades in Year 2 to grade 6 in Year 8 (grade 6 is graded at the same standard as GCSE and attracts UCAS points).

Trinity College exams have a very wide syllabus from speech, drama and acting, to performing and communication skills, so there is something for all children to work towards.

Mrs Pearson has a 100% pass rate with Trinity with over 50% of children receiving Distinction, which is well over the national average. Pupils are very welcome to arrange taster sessions before making a commitment to lessons.
