Year 8’s Oriental Art Project

Posted: 23rd September 2013 | Category: Year 8

In their Art lessons, Year 8 has been studying Chinese and Japanese influences.  Looking at various sources, the class have been creating detailed drawings and paintings of a Chinese or Japanese figure, using a range of art materials.

Once their drawing or painting is complete, they will write a haiku to explain the situation of their figure, then cut out and mount the picture and poem, to be displayed.
