Year 3 visit Kent Life and learn about the Stone Age

Posted: 23rd November 2016 | Category: Year 3

Year 3 had a wonderful day at Kent Life on Tuesday 22nd November. They learnt about how people traded in the Stone Age and were able to look at a range of weapons. The children then met a real life tribe member who renamed all the children with delightful names such as 'Toenail' and 'Armpit'; this workshop was a favourite for many of the children! After lunch the children enjoyed learning about prehistoric beliefs and rituals and then they tried their hand at cave painting using charcoal. The children all had a great day and represented the school fantastically. Thank you very much to all the parents who came along to help.
