The Owl and the Pussy Cat

Posted: 27th January 2016 | Category: Reception

As part of our 'Wonderful Words' theme, Reception have had huge fun exploring the Nursery Rhyme The Owl and the Pussy Cat. We have done writing, art work and we have even been learning to recite the poem.  We learnt that it was written by Edward Lear when Queen Victoria was on the throne well over one hundred years ago making it even older than Mr Hammond!
