Reception’s Rainforest Topic

Posted: 15th May 2014 | Category: Reception

This half term, the children in Reception are learning about Rainforests.

We have enjoyed finding out about the life cycle of a butterfly and creating our own symmetrical butterfly paintings. We have also been working on a poem about the rainforest and filling in the missing words.

In child-initiated sessions, the children also chose to draw their own pictures, inspired by their work on the rainforest.

View photos of their work.
