Reception Class Learn all about Harvest

In Reception, the children have been learning about Harvest as part of their Awesome Autumn topic.

Joined by Skippy the Deer, the Reception Class mascot, the children sat together and talked about the different places where fruits, vegetables and plants grow. The children then had to think about the types of food that Skippy would eat.

Miss Hemsley explained to the children about the importance of the weather in enabling the plants and vegetables to grow and that plants and vegetables provide essential food sources for animals like Skippy and for people too, including us!
