Kindergarten Blog: Kindergarten ‘Meet the Animals’

Posted: 27th September 2013 | Category: Kindergarten

Kindergarten has had a very exciting couple of weeks! Our Animal Encounters event was fantastic and well-attended by parents and grandparents.

We were able to get 'up close and personal' with a wide variety of furry, feathery, scaly and creepy creatures. We watched, amazed, at the Reception child who let an enormous bird-eating spider crawl up her arm!

Our children were put at their ease by the lovely Charles and his assistant, Michael, and were confident and full of wonder as they handled the chinchilla, fruit bat, armadillo, lizards and snake, to name just a few.

The experience inspired some beautiful creative work and is still being talked about.

Thank you so much to Impeyan Productions and we hope to see you again!
