IAPS Clay Pigeon Shooting Competition

Will and myself set off to London at around 9am and we had a while to think about our tactics and how we might be able to be as accurate as possible for the shooting competition that afternoon. When we arrived we asked to be checked in for the competition and the lady looked very surprised as we were 3 hours early!
Will’s Dad was extremely generous and paid for Will and me to have a practice before the competition and got us fifty clays each at 5 different stands.
We thanked Nick, got our guns and had great fun going around the course and we both felt more ready for the competition.
Finally people started to flow through the doors and the competition was able to begin.
It  was great fun but at the end of Will’s and my turn to shoot it started hailing which made it more difficult to aim but we managed to carry on and do our best.
Will was placed 5th which was excellent and I enjoyed taking part and getting plenty of practice.
Thank You very much to Nick for taking me all the way to London and back and to Will for making it a great day.
