Goldilocks says sorry to the Three Bears

This term Year One are learning about fairy Tales & Castles. We started off the term by reading the big book of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children particularly enjoyed acting out the story and then pretending they were Goldilocks and writing sorry letters to the bears.
We carried on the theme of bears by having a Teddy Bear day. The children were asked to bring in their favourite Teddy Bear from home. They produced some lovely writing about their bear which will shortly go on display. However, the highlight of this day was making and eating Teddy Bear toast!
We look forward to more Bear activities throughout the rest of this week.
