Geography in Year 3

Posted: 13th September 2013 | Category: Year 3

As part of their Geography lesson in Year 3 this week, the children were presented with both a world map and a map of the British Isles. Each child was given a sticker and they had to find a location they had visited during the holidays- whether it be a day trip or a family holiday. The children then had to place the sticker over the location to show the rest of the class where they had been.

They also had to put a different coloured sticker over the places they would like to visit in the future. One pupil told the class that her best friend had recently emigrated to Australia and that she would really like to visit in the future.

They brought in photos of their holidays and enjoyed sharing them with their classmates.
